MYNIQ Tech Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MPet – Pet Care Tracker mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with you (“Personal Information”), including:

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your Name, Email Address, and Password via Firebase Authentication.
  • Pet Data & Media: You may use your device’s Native Camera and Gallery to upload photos and create profiles for your pets. This data is stored securely using Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage.
  • Location Data (Temporary): We only collect and process your precise location data when you actively use the “Report Lost Pet” feature. This location data is used temporarily to broadcast push notifications to users within a 5km radius and is not stored permanently in our databases.
  • Usage Data & Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect information about how you interact with our App to improve functionality and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Facilitate the “Family Circle” feature, allowing you to share pet profiles exclusively with members you explicitly invite.
  • Operate the “Lost Pet Broadcast” alert system.
  • Process your in-app subscriptions and purchases.
  • Serve targeted advertisements (see “Advertising” below).
  • Monitor and enforce our End User License Agreement (EULA) regarding User-Generated Content.

3. Data Sharing and Privacy (Family Circle)

Your pet profiles and uploaded media are entirely private by default. They are only visible to other users if you intentionally add those users to your designated “Family Circle.” We do not sell your personal data or pet profiles to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies regarding data handling:

  • Google Firebase: (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics).
  • Google Mobile Ads: Used for monetization.

5. Advertising and Tracking

We use Google Mobile Ads to display personalized advertisements. This means ad networks may track your interests across other apps and websites to show you relevant ads.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by adjusting your device’s native privacy settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your specific pet data, photos, and Family Circle configurations at any time directly within the App.

  • Account Deletion: To completely delete your user account and all associated personal data from our systems, you must contact us at contact@myniq.co.in. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with global data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA).
